How to (Finally) Exercise Consistently

For many years, I tried to routinely exercise. For many years also, it stopped within 2 weeks, or 1 month max. But for the past 3 years, I have finally become consistent in my exercise routine.

My exercise snapshot this month!

How do I do this?

Choose something you enjoy!

For many years, I research tirelessly for ‘the best exercise’ or ‘the best exercise to lose fat’. Maybe HIIT is the best exercise, but when I wake up in the morning and dread HIIT, I then postpone it until the evening and end up not doing it.

I picked up running, but then had a sore knee and then stopped running for a while. I also hate how I feel so terrible at running and so out of breath.

Currently I do my Les Mills class every day. Either HIIT or BodyPump or BodyCombat when I have a lot of energy, or maybe just BodyBalance or Core when I don’t have a lot of energy. (Want 30 days free trial? Click this link)

Commit in moving your body 30 mins a day.

Doesn’t matter what you do. It could be a yoga session. Walking to the park. Cycling to work (I use my ebike! It’s still exercise!!) HIIT session. Running. Just commit in 30 mins every day. If it’s too much, 20 mins.

Do something that you enjoy. Maybe if walking even sounds exhausting, try listening to a podcast you’ve been wanting to listen. Watch a video on the treadmill.

The key is : showing up every day. Pick something, maybe not ideal, but something that you can show up to everyday.

You can do it!
