How I Grew My Pinterest by 300% in Less than a Week!

A week ago, I got less than 10 impressions on Pinterest in a day. Yesterday, I got 337 views on Pinterest alone! I can’t explain to you how excited I am. Here’s how I do it:

Not as impressive as some other posts I’ve seen but I’m proud!

The most important: Create GREAT Content.

Solve your readers’ problems! Maybe, they are anxious to pack for an upcoming travel, want to cook something easy, tasty, nutritious yet quick meals, starting an interest in gardening, or wanting a less touristy option from Bali – it doesn’t matter. Think about how you can help your readers, write those articles, and publish them. Let go of perfectionism, you can always update them later. For now, just keep cranking out those articles and focus on your customers.

Second Step: Marketing

Find and Join Group Boards.

When I started researching how to grow my Pinterest account, the first thing I came across is about Group Boards. Group boards are Pinterest boards where you can collaborate with other Pinterest users.

So I tried. It wasn’t as straightforward as I found, because Pinterest doesn’t have any easy way to find group boards. And when I found some, they don’t accept new collaborators, there is no “Join” button. It was very frustrating! So I decided to pay for Pingroupie Premium (affiliate link) and boy was that worth it. I can see why it’s being promoted by so many other bloggers too! You can try it out for free, but I find not being able to search for my keywords, extremely limiting and worth the $20 monthly payment.

I suggest you write a very general keyword on the search box (travel, blog, recipe, food, etc) that’s relevant to your content, and then activate the “request to join button” on the side. Then, join AS MANY Pinterest groups that are relevant to your Pinterest, because I found it is quite difficult to enter Pinterest groups – I applied for more than 100 and maybe entered 4 so far! Then pin your content to those groups.

Tailwind Community

Many people talk about Tailwind about its scheduling. I honestly haven’t used scheduling because I’m on Pinterest every day anyway (I enjoy it!). The part that helped me the most, is the community. The community so far seems to be much more active than Pinterest board I’ve been in, and infinitely easier to join. Very similar to Pinterest Group boards, I pin relevant content to relevant boards. Use this link to join Tailwind for free (affiliate link)

That’s it! it’s only been a week, so I have only tried those 2 options – but they DO work. Try them and let me know how your results are!
