Well I first have to say maybe it deviates a little from the prompt today. But prompt is prompt, I think, which is just to help writers and can be applied liberally.
I tried to have routine exercise program but struggled on and off for a while. Until the pandemic hits. Then suddenly I can’t really go to the gym or do the gym class I love. Except…. I can access it at home from my TV! I then bought a cheap set of weights, step and resistance bands and off I go. I’ve been doing this for about 3 years now consistently almost every day, and while I’m human and have lazy days too, so far I’ve enjoyed the journey and don’t have to daily drag myself to do my workout of the day.
The gym class I talk about is Les Mills, which I’m sure some people are familiar with. If not, people may know the workout names, which is called BodyCombat, BodyPump, etc since a lot of gym does them as classes.
I love the variety from Les Mills, since it has classes for whatever I want, from strength, cardio, flexibility, core, which helps me to build the most fit and functional body I can, and I am an easily bored person! The variety also helps me to build consistency, which I think is the best way to build an exercise routine.
If you want to try Les Mills, you can get 30 days free here! Let me know how it goes if you do!
